After our horrendous move, we tried to get back into our business as usual. But that has been a challenge…
On Monday we picked all your orders that had accumulated over a month’s time. And it was a lot… 153 parcels, and a bunch of letters.
On Tuesday, packing day, we started the day with a power cut on our block. So no heating, no lights, no hot water. When the power briefly came on, I smelled burning plastic. Turned out our phase 1 connection short circuited and started to burn 🔥
Luckily grid management was close by, and dealt with the situation fairly rapidly. But they did give us the next challenge, as they cut our internet cable while digging.
Over 5 hours on the phone, and 3 no shows, we certainly hope #KPN will finally meet their appointment on Wednesday. 🙄😬😎

All in all, we count ourselves really lucky. Had we not been there, this could have ended so much worse…

And we still managed to get all parcels out within a reasonable time frame.
